PokiFrame guide

How to scan multiple Pokémon cards with PokiFrame

Multiple mode lets PokiFrame find more than one visible card in the camera view. It is useful for working through a collection, but you should still review the individual matches before saving a batch. Covered cards cannot be checked from the top card of a stack.

  1. Prepare a group of cards in the same language

Place the cards so their faces, edges and printed details are visible without overlap. Start with a group you can comfortably inspect on screen. Open the scanner and choose the matching Card Language, such as EN or JP. Keep English and Japanese batches separate so you can check the selected language between groups.

  2. Switch from Single to Multiple

Select Multiple under Scan Mode. On iPhone, Multiple requires Premium after the initial free access period. Access and offers can differ by platform; if the app displays an upgrade screen, review the terms shown there. Single mode remains the way to work through cards individually.

  3. Check each detected card before continuing

Hold the phone steady and watch the matched cards appear. Compare each result with the card in front of you. If a card is missed or the match is uncertain, separate it from the group and retry in Single mode. The app notes that Multiple can be less accurate than Single.

Review variants as well as names: a matching artwork can still have a different printing or finish. Select the version you own before treating the displayed total as the value of your batch.

  4. Review quantities in Organize and save the batch

Tap Organize and check every row, including quantities for duplicate copies. Use the add-all action to choose the destination collection and save the reviewed cards together. Confirm the cards in the collection before starting the next group; the camera results and the saved collection are separate steps.

If part of a batch is missing

Reduce the group, remove overlap and adjust reflections. Check that the selected language matches the cards. A smaller group followed by an individual check is easier to verify than repeatedly moving a crowded spread through the camera.

Check the allowance before a long session

Free access includes a limited allowance for viewing scanned card prices, and a batch can contain more than one card counted toward it. Follow the app's current limit and reset information rather than assuming that one camera view counts as one free scan.
